Community guidelines

Aussie BBQ is a friendly, family-safe place to share public BBQ spots, tips, photos and recipes. Every post is checked by a moderator before it appears.

Please do

• Share helpful, honest tips about public BBQs: shade, parking, toilets, how hot the plate gets, best times to go.
• Share your own BBQ recipes and your own photos.
• Be kind. Everyone was a first-time BBQer once.
• Use the quick buttons to say if a BBQ is busy, broken or dirty, and report broken council BBQs to the council too.

Please don't

• Post photos of other people (especially children) without their OK, or number plates and home addresses.
• Post rude, hateful, sexual or violent content, or anything illegal.
• Rate or review businesses, name and shame people, or make claims you can't back up.
• Advertise, spam or post links to sell things.
• Post other people's photos or recipes copied from elsewhere.
• Encourage unsafe fires. Always follow local fire bans: check your state fire service on total fire ban days.

What happens if a post breaks the rules

It won't be approved. Accounts that keep breaking the rules may be closed. To report a post, use the 💬 Feedback button.
